In 1946, Estée Lauder Companies Inc. was established by Joseph and Estée Lauder. Ms. Lauder achieved initial experience in the cosmetics and skincare industry under the tuition of her uncle, a skin care expert and a chemist. The company launched its 1st department shop counter in Saks 5th Avenue, just 2 years later. In 1953, the company launched its 1st perfume, Youth Dew, in the type of a bath oil that doubled as a fragrance. Youth Dew is still a worldwide top seller for the company. The company introduced Aramis, Inc. in 1964, to create esteem perfumes and grooming items for men. Since then, Estée Lauder Companies Inc. would widen its products through the release, acquisition or licensing contracts with multiple cosmetics and fragrance companies, with more than twenty-five companies in its portfolio now, companies like Tom Ford, Clinique, MAC, Jo Malone, and Origins. Estée Lauder is a popular and old fragrance house. The very first edition was launched in 1953 and the latest is from 2017.
