Located in Paris, Creed is the worldís only dynastic, privately held luxury perfume company, started in 1760 and handed from father to son since then, providing noble houses and the discerning general public for 251 years. Nowadays the company is led by the unerring Olivier Creed, sixth in his family line to head Creed and inventor of its most popular perfumes. His son, Erwin, seventh generation and the upcoming head has already begun to make contributions to the art of Creed. The companyís very first royal earning came in 1781 from King George III, for whom Creed produced the perfume Royal English Leather.

Creed moved to Paris in 1854 at the demand of client Empress Eugenie of France, for whom Creed made Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie, a perfume still offered at this time. Among other CREED clients at this time is Emperor Franz-Josef of Austria-Hungary, his fashionable wife, Empress Elisabeth (ìSisiî) and Czar Nicolas II of Russia.

In 1885, Queen Victoria employed Creed ìofficial supplierî to the British royal court. For her majesty, Creed created the perfume Fleurs de Bulgarie by the commission payment. This appealing perfume, vibrant with roses, is readily available nowadays. Also in 1885, Queen Maria Cristina of Spain branded Creed her provider by royal order.

In the 20th century, not only did royalty which includes the Duke and Duchess of Windsor choose Creed, but also renowned political figures became CREED consumers. Sir Winston Churchill wore Creed's Tabarome. In America, young politician and the US President John F. Kennedy wore Creed's Vetiver.

In 1956, CREED developed Grace Kellyís wedding day perfume, Fleurissimo, by direction of her fiancÈ, Prince Rainier of Monaco. So initiated Hollywoodís long love relationship with CREED.

In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, expert perfumer Olivier Creed developed some of Creed's most precious treasures: Green Irish Tweed, Millesime Imperial, Silver Mountain Water, Himalaya, Spring Flower and Original Vetiver. Erwin CREED also contributed for Himalaya and Original Vetiver.

In 2005, Mr. CREED developed Love In White. Laura Bush took the first bottle in 2005, thanking Creed in a note dispatched to Paris. Michelle Obama took it as well, Washingtonian Magazine reviews.

In 2006, Kate Middleton took the first bottle of Creed Royal Ceylan. The debut of Original Santal for men and women introduced in 2006, a scent of royal Indian sandalwood.

In 2007, Creed Virgin Island Water was born, succeeding four of five stars in a New York Times review. 2008 introduced Love In Black, influenced by Jacqueline Onassis. 2009 contributed Acqua Fiorentina, evoking the Renaissance city of Florence. Also in 2009 followed Sublime Vanille, first in a brand-new Royal special collection-within-the-collection.

In 2010, CREED enjoyed its 250th year by launching its only U.S. store in Manhattan and with the development of AVENTUS defined as ìmesmerizingî by The New York Times.

In 2011, Creed launched Royal-Oud for men and women, with fantastic oud coaxed from Agarwood trees and more costly per ounce than palladium. Creed will also offer more perfumes in its Royal Exclusives line: Original Cologne and White Flowers.

Creed is an old perfume brand having 81 perfumes. The first edition was created in 1781 and the latest is from 2018.
